These few paragraphs describe what we hold when you use Select Your College and what stays private.
What do you collect?
Anything entered in a form on Select Your College sends us the message and the address to answer.
Corrections and suggestions are saved for review, together with an email if you gave one; that email is only for our questions.
We record simple tallies on how often links are followed, without anything that identifies a visitor.
In the background, the web server behind selectyourcollege.com notes the usual request details, for site safety.
What stays with you
Number tools on selectyourcollege.com do their math inside your browser, and your figures are not sent to us.
A few pages keep your recent entries on this device, in local storage, and that is not sent to us.
Do you use cookies?
Reading Select Your College asks for no registration, and we leave your browser free of our cookies.
Should we add Google Analytics or a similar tool, or ads, they may rely on cookies, which you can refuse in your settings.
Links to stores can earn us a commission if you buy; after that, the store's rules cover you.
Your choices
For deletion or correction, drop a line to advice@selectyourcollege.com, and we will sort it out.
Who has access
We will never sell visitor information to advertisers or anyone else. Other than our host and our email service, your details are not handed on unless we are legally obliged.
Anything else
Readers of Select Your College are expected to be 13 or older; parents can ask us to remove anything a child sent.
Should anything change, we post the update on this page along with a fresh date.
